No Mask, No Service

We are doing our best to provide library services to our community in a safe way. Along that vein, from today forward we will no longer allow pick-ups at the window if you aren't wearing a face covering. Up until now our staff has kindly reminded, and asked nicely for patrons to wear masks, and most of our patrons have complied, but unfortunately, we still have a few holdouts. Just as a reminder, we are talking about the law here in Oregon.

"Masks, face shields and face coverings are currently required statewide for indoor public spaces (for example, grocery stores, pharmacies, public transit, personal services providers, restaurants, bars, retail stores, and more). In addition, face coverings are required in outdoor public spaces when physical distancing is not possible."

Those patrons who object, can opt to have library items mailed, but we will no longer risk the health of our staff members, their families, or our community by serving you in person.
